STAR RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The Unforgotten Coat is an amazing book! It is a book about two boys, Chingis and Nergui, who it is thought may have moved from Mongolia but as you read the book you discover they may be from somewhere else. Julie is the first person the boys meet and she is their “good guide”, she teaches them everything about Liverpool, where she lives; she teaches them about: football, school, planes and much much more. Chingis has a camera and takes many pictures along the way. We find out, some way through the book, that someone or something is chasing Nergui. They do everything they can to stop them. The story then fast-forwards to later life when Chingis and Nergui track down Julie, on social media, and send her a photo.
I would highly recommend this book, I loved it so much that I read it again a year later and enjoyed it just as much! I rate this book five stars and would recomend this book to any aged reader.
